Pricing PolicyIsland Style Promotions and Australian Longboard Surfing Open pricing of entry fees, is carefully monitored by our staff to provide our participants with the cheapest possible participation cost. All of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and services tax) as of 1st July 2000.
Payment ProcessingLive Heats passes on to the participant any American Express, Visa, and Mastercard processing fees that apply to each transaction.
Refund PolicyEntry fees are only refundable if 7 days' notice is given prior to an Event. Cancellations made less than 7 days from an Event, will only be offered a refund if the vacant spot can be filled with a Reserve.All refunds will incur an administration fee.If payment is taken for a competition that is already full Island Style Promotions will provide a full refund.DisclaimerAlthough as mentioned we will take all care and make all effort to keep your information private however, we will not be held legally responsible for any breach as the information may be divulged to other parties which has been obtained by methods which are beyond our reasonable control. Our recommended hygiene protocols.The protocols outlined below are essential to limit your exposure and prevent the spread of germs, in particular as they relate to diseases such as COVID‐19:General hygiene • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds• If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol‐based hand sanitiser• Wash or sanitise your hands before eating.• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.• Stay home and seek medical treatment when you are sick• Cover your mouth to cough or sneeze.
Surfing hygiene • We advise not to share rashies, drinks, towels, wax, sunscreen with others. • Wetsuits should be cleaned as per the manufacturer's guidelines and hung outdoors.• We will place hand sanitisers around event site and encourage the use of them.• We will ensure all facilities are maintained and cleaned to a high standard with appropriate cleaning agents – consider more regular cleaning of facilities.• We encourage you to limit physical contact pre-post event such as avoiding shaking hands, pre or post-event celebrations.• We will send a notification to all participants in advance of events reminding them of hygiene protocols for events.
